Live pigs are currently being bought and sold at around 64,500 \u2013 69,000 VND\/kg, nearly 800 VND\/kg higher than last week&#8217;s prices, with the South continuing to maintain the highest prices nationwide.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Northern region: No price changes were recorded on May 5th, with prices fluctuating between 64,500 &#8211; 65,500 VND\/kg, nearly 1,000 VND\/kg higher than the same period last week.<\/li>\n<li>Central and Central Highlands regions: Prices remained stable today, with live pig purchase prices rising to 66,500 \u2013 68,000 VND\/kg, approximately 1,000 VND\/kg higher than last week.<\/li>\n<li>Southern region: On May 5th, live pig prices decreased slightly by 500 VND\/kg in the Southwestern provinces but remained stable in the Eastern region.
